Azuda
Azuda are the centuries-old water mills declared Historical monuments and still operational in Clos de Luz. Wines with great acidity, very fine tannins, and excellent persistence. Fermentation in concrete vats and aging in clay amphorae.
Azuda represents the line of innovation at Clos de Luz. Creativity takes precedence, delighting with fresh wines full of character.
This particular Carménère is crafted from grapes harvested from old vineyards planted in 1945, but it undergoes exclusive aging in concrete eggs.
The concrete does not impart tertiary aromas, allowing the fruit and the terroir to be the true stars.
